  • Investor:SIEMENS s.r.o.
  • Implementation: 2004
  • Description: The implementation solves the exchange of trunk distribution systems, risers and connections of the heating bodies of the central heating system distribution lines in the premises of the Institute for the Care of Mother and Child in Prague – Podolí. The exchange was executed on the basis of the emergency state of the central heating distribution system and with regard to the fulfilment of the obligations according to Section 6(7) of Act No. 406/2000, equip the internal thermal equipment of the buildings with instruments that control the delivery of the thermal energy. Overall replacement of the existing heating bodies (cast-iron sectional type 500/110, 500/160, 600/160, 900/160, ribbed pipes, etc.) was done in the entire building. A total of 900 new radiators were installed in the design for healthcare facilities. SYSTHERM executed the implementation project including the calculation of the hydraulic stability of the individual buildings. The heating bodies were outfitted with Siemens closable radiator valves and Danfoss control and closing fittings. Copper pipes and fittings were used for heating water distribution. The steel pipe distribution system runs under the basement ceiling from the compact transfer station or via the heating channels to the foot of the individual risers. Copper pipes and fittings were used for the risers and connection of the heating bodies.
The pipes in the medical facilities run in covered Siplex mouldings to the connections of the heating bodies.
