  • Description: The existing steam boiler room for the Municipality of Vlašim was reconstructed within the framework of transition from steam/water to a hot-water source with temperature parameters 100/55 °C and a rated output of 9 MW. VIESSMANN technology boilers were supplied including the flue exchangers for utilisation of the residual heat from the flue gases. An integral part of the reconstruction of the gas-fired boiler was also supply and delivery of new flue systems, including the lining of the existing 80 m chimney. The boiler room system was implemented in SIEMENS technology with the SYSTHERM – WebHeatControl superior central dispatch, which also monitors and manages 80 pressure independent transfer stations at the offtake points. The WebHeatControl dispatch also works with weather forecasts in relation to the priority of the existing adjacent biomass-fired boiler facility with a rated output of 1 MW, with an accumulation capacity of 10,000 l. WebHeatControl on the basis of the weather forecast controls the Vlašim central heat source also with the utilisation of heat accumulation in the primary system.
