  • Description: Based on comparison of the individual versions from the technical-economic study, which was processed by the subsidiary company SYSTHERM SK s.r.o., the management of SLUŽBYT s.r.o. chose the option with interconnection of the current gas boiler rooms K4 and K6. Calculated on the output of the consumption peak from the HESCOnet company calculation SW for district heating networks, it was decided to operate only one heat source. Specifically boiler facility K4, where the main heat sources are CHP units (Combined Heat and Power) and the existing gas boilers serve as a peak source. A new distribution system was installed for the central heat source using the pre-insulated pipe technology with a temperature gradient of 90/55 °C. The SYMPATIK pressure independent substations with flow-through heating of DHW were installed at the consumption points – in residential buildings. The central heating system of the town of Svidník is controlled by a SYSTHERM s.r.o. – WebHeatControl master remote control centre and the weather forecasts are applied into its own consumption predictions due to the integration of the CHP units with heat accumulation.
