  • Description: The building solves the transition from a steam-based heat supply system to a hot water system in part of the central supply system of the Municipality of Písek.
    Replacement of the hot water fluid in the entire territory is leading to a substantial reduction in the heat losses from the pipe distribution lines and the problem of returning condensate for reason of the failure-rate and short service life of the condensation system is being eliminated.
    Water is also safer as a heat transfer medium in terms of the distribution system, storage and operation of the transfer stations, control and measurement are more operative and safer than the current medium – steam.
